Example of PCS via
FIXML(PDF) - an annotated example of a file of PCS (Position Change Specification) data in
FIXML format, showing how simple it is to create such a file and exactly how to identify the firm
and product on each record
-
XmlLine.exe - utility program which
takes a text file containing XML as input, and outputs a text file in which each XML tag is on a
line by itself. Useful for inspecting XML files using NotePad or other simple text
editor. Run it at the command line, and simple provide two arguments – the name of the input
file, and the name of the output file. Particularly useful for FIXML, where typically each
message is produced as a single line, which can be hard to read using simple text editors because
of the line length.
