• FIXML Clearing Confirm Trade Capture Specification v1 (PDF) (Posted August 2006) - explains the usage of FIXML for receiving trade confirmation messages for electronically-executed trades, for CME, CBOT and FX MarketSpace, and for sending in change messages and receiving change confirmation messages. Also explains the usage of FIXML for transfer messages for FX MarketSpace.

• Example of PCS via FIXML(PDF) - an annotated example of a file of PCS (Position Change Specification) data in FIXML format, showing how simple it is to create such a file and exactly how to identify the firm and product on each record
• XmlLine.exe - utility program which takes a text file containing XML as input, and outputs a text file in which each XML tag is on a line by itself.  Useful for inspecting XML files using NotePad or other simple text editor.  Run it at the command line, and simple provide two arguments – the name of the input file, and the name of the output file.  Particularly useful for FIXML, where typically each message is produced as a single line, which can be hard to read using simple text editors because of the line length.
